In celebration of my episode on Breastfeeding and ADHD on 's "Makes Milk" podcast being released tomorrow, I thought it would be good to do a Q&A.
But as someone with mainly just lived experience of being late diagnosed ADHD, possible autism, and a hyperfocus on the topic of neurodivergence due to trying to access support for my kids, I thought it would be good to have someone with some actual high level qualifications and knowledge!
Step in my school friend Georgina Not So Typical Counselling, Integrative Counsellor and Neurodivergence Specialist recently graduating with a MSc in Autism and Neurodivergence. She will be fine with me saying when we were at school she left with an E and two Ns at A level. What an AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT! George is a good example of why school does not always fit well with ND brains but success can come in other ways!
We have had a wonderful symbiotic online friendship since losing touch after leaving school and then facebook brought us back together, her plundering my knowledge of breastfeeding when her kids were babies and later me plundering her knowledge of neurodivergence as myself and my family went on that journey of self discovery.
Anyway, join us on Wed 9th Sept, 7pm for a live Q&A on all things neurodivergence, breastfeeding and parenting.
A question box is in my stories. If you need more than one or two boxes please send me a DM instead!
George has requested questions that are the weirder the better haha. Those where you start with "this may be a bit of a strange thing to ask, but ..."
See you on Wednesday, I can't wait!
We are aiming for 30 mins, but I have a feeling once we both get started it might go on for a while haha. So grab a cuppa!! Live questions on the night will also be taken.
Your homework before attending is to listen to my Makes Milk podcast episode first! Available anywhere you get your podcasts.
