“Spicules only work on the superficial skin layers, so “there’s no powered device, needles, puncturing of the skin, risk of injury or blood”, says Argent. As someone who has had professional microneedling, only to walk out the doors of the clinic bloody and swollen, I’d long sworn off ever having the treatment again. So the idea that a liquid microneedling serum could deliver my hyaluronic acid and peptides deeper into the skin without pain sounded brilliant.”

Careful, conservative settings are particularly important for deeper skin tones, highlighting the significance of experience over the machine itself. MOXI, utilising a 1927nm thulium laser, offers gentle resurfacing that accommodates a broader array of skin tones, with solid evidence supporting its effectiveness for sun-damaged skin. He recommends wrinkle-relaxing treatments only twice annually. And , a favourite among us all.⁠

So pleased with how this space has come together. 📍⁠

, captured by the brilliant , who has photographed us for years for our headshots. From the striped awning outside to the little details inside that most people walk straight past.⁠

I wanted the clinic to feel like somewhere I'd actually want to spend my days, not just a treatment room with nice lighting. So there's a lot of me in here: art I love, colours I love, a mood I can only describe as retro futuristic, or dopamine interiors if you're feeling more science about it.⁠

If you look closely, you'll spot a and a on the walls. Getting to build a space around pieces like that, rather than around what a clinic is "supposed" to look like, has been one of my favourite parts of all this.⁠
