Activity in Art

Activity in Art Creative holistic art activities for individuals and group settings, within a caring environment. DB

It is recognised that the arts have an important therapeutic role in our lives, as it helps people to communicate and to express themselves.Either through painting, music, drama, dance movement or other creative ways, people can also gain greater self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem; particularly people who struggle with emotional difficulties or who are impaired in some way. Taking part in

a small activity group with others can also offer great pleasure, joy and satisfaction. Is this something that you might like to try or know someone who could benefit from such activities? Please get in touch to find out more as I offer a service at reasonable rates.

It is estimated that, on average, one in three children in every classroom will experience a mental health issue. Many school staff face situations where they are required to support young people with mental health issues with little or no training in how best to manage this.

Our MHFA in Schools course aims to provide school staff with the skills and confidence to spot common signs and triggers of mental health issues and enable them to guide a young person to appropriate support.
