I've been working for the past 15 years as a specialist diabetes dietitian as well as running private clinics for various patients. I have worked in a variety of NHS hospitals (including Barts, The Royal London, Basildon, Finchley Memorial and Edgware) as well as running clinics in Barnet and Millway Medical Surgery. "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life" - Confucius

I'm asked all the time why I love what I do and, for me, it is about providing people with peace of mind and a way to enjoy the food they love whilst still achieving their health goals.

Many people arrive in my clinic with a recent diagnosis of Diabetes and are terrified of what the future may hold. They've read/heard conflicting advice and, in many cases, are too scared to eat.

I educate them around their particular health concern and enable them to understand which foods are best in order to manage their blood glucose, weight (or other measurement, depending what they have come to see me for). This gives them their confidence back and allows them to enjoy food, and their lives, once more.

Seeing people lose the fear surrounding food and be able to enjoy it once more, all while improving their health, is what I love about what I do.
