As the 10th Biomedical Science Day comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration so special.
More than 350 events have taken place across the UK today, with biomedical scientists, laboratory staff, students, supporters and healthcare colleagues opening doors, sharing stories, welcoming visitors, creating displays, making videos, speaking to schools, celebrating teams and showing the public what it means to be .
From night workers finishing their shifts with a smile, to hospital foyer stands, lab tours, school activities, political messages of support, brilliant videos, team photos and 10-year celebrations across the country - today has shown the pride, creativity and commitment of our profession at its best.
Biomedical Science Day began as a way to make the unseen seen. Ten events on, you have made it the world’s largest biomedical science awareness campaign.
Thank you to every person and every team who took part, posted, hosted, volunteered, visited, supported or celebrated today.
