We've been having lots of conversations with people about how the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification differs from the Care Certificate - and how the two can work together to support you in your career.

While both are built around the same core standards, they serve different purposes.

The Care Certificate remains an excellent foundation for new starters, helping you develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to work safely and effectively in care.

The Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate builds on those foundations, providing a nationally recognised qualification that develops and evidences a deeper level of competence.
