"Show me your strawberries!" A hot Thursday and of course we had a very, very long journey to to pick strawberries. Stacked in the freezer for breakfast shakes. Out&About continues to be a joy of a day out, and our knowledge of our amazing public transport in the UK widens.

Stand With Us this Learning Disability Week in Ealing 🌈

We’re excited to invite you to our Stand With Us event as part of Learning Disability Week in Ealing.

This year’s theme is “Do you see me?” – celebrating people with learning disabilities and their voices. We’ll be coming together to show our support, challenge stigma and celebrate the amazing contributions people with learning disabilities make to our community.

Such a contrast to the hailstones yesterday, the Isabella Plantation lived up to our high expectations. Out&About excursions accessing mostly free activities in the wonderful city that we live in. Gain travel skills, confidence and friends, every Thursday, starting 10am in Brentford.

21 stops on the Central line because the Lizzy had stopped running. Fabulous weather. Great location. Compact and accessible. Stunning building. Doing what the V&A does best. Would recommend.

Arts&Crafts Wednesdays. We make use of whatever is around us. This week, recycled cardboard into picture frames and vases, flowers from the park, with some clear sticky plastic to hold. Simple idea, fulfilled by our artists.

Aisling put her heart and soul into her first shift and smashed it. We're at the Pavilion on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, serving light refreshments 10am to 4pm alongside our own activities.
