Two clients walked in this week. Both 28. Completely different Botox plans.
One had no visible lines, but strong frown movement every time she spoke. The other had a forehead line that stayed put even when her face was fully relaxed.
Same treatment. Two very different goals.
Preventative Botox is for skin that hasn't creased yet. We use smaller doses to soften the muscle habit before that movement becomes a permanent line. Best suited to expressive faces in their 20s and early 30s who want to slow the process down.
Corrective Botox is for lines that are already visible at rest. The dose is tailored to relax the muscle enough to let the skin smooth over time. Best suited to anyone seeing creasing that lingers after the expression has gone.
The right approach has nothing to do with your age. It's about where your skin is right now.
