Love this progress♥️

The first picture is of 2014, when | was 38 years old and had been teaching and practicing yoga for 3 years and the second picture is September 2026. There is almost a 12 year difference between the two pictures and a lot of time spent on my mat.
Whenever, I feel discouraged about my practice or things I am working on, I remind myself of these small achievements♥️

Spot the difference!

The top picture is from 2014. I was 38 years old and had been teaching and practicing yoga for three years.
The second picture is from August 2026, almost exactly twelve years later. Can you tell the difference?
Sometimes, progress looks small. In the second picture, my front leg is parallel to my body, my hips are square, l'm able to hold myself up from my core. This may not look like much from a glance, but it's the culmination of years of dedicated work on strength and flexibility.
And then there's the things you can't see from a photo - a less intense warm up, more confidence in my body, more clarity and peace of mind. Small or even invisible changes add up - and the sum of the parts is a person who is healthier, mind, body, and soul.
Whenever, I feel discouraged, I like to remind myself that these 'small' differences aren't so small at all.

So grateful for all these kind words from my amazing Yoga students!Drop me a DM to learn more and join a class today ♥️

The best gift that I got out of consistent self practice is patience and trust in the journey.
When I started arm balancing at the age of 44, l had a lot of doubts and self-limiting beliefs. I thought that my upper body wasn't strong enough, that I couldn't just start arm balancing when I was 44 and had never done it before. But with a lot of patience, consistent practice and determination, what once seemed totally unachievable became accessible to me❤️

"Sa tu dirgha kala nairantarya satkara sevito drudha bhumihi The foundation for a good yoga practice is long term consistent practice with lot of devotion to the practice."
- the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
The only thing you need to reap the benefits of yoga is consistency.
Proud of my Monday evening lesson students
