My first ever job was working as an in-home care assistant. I needed a work placement for
college, and after my two weeks were up, I ended up staying on for a further two years. I loved
my job, building relationships, supporting people, and being there when people needed me.
However, after I took the summer off to work abroad in the States, I came home to find those I
cared for in much worse conditions than when I’d left them. After this, I began getting frustrated.
No matter what I did, it didn’t stop them from getting worse. I realised what I wanted wasn’t to
support people through their deterioration, but to help people get better. The question was
simply how?
For as long as I could remember, my father had struggled. Before my first birthday, he had a
severe motorcycle accident, breaking his right tibial plateau, a plate and pin needed in his tibia,
along with fractures in his left ankle. I had never known a time when he wasn’t in pain. Then,
after a year of plantar fasciitis, it became clear just how much it was affecting his mobility and
day-to-day life. The conversation changed from aches and pains, to walking sticks and ankle

his complaints became deafening. Unexpectedly, he started to improve. His pain reduced, and
he became more active again. Confused at what seemed to be nothing short of a miracle, I
asked him what changed? He told me he had been receiving Advanced Biostructural Correction
(ABC) treatment.
I finally found what I had been searching for: a way to not only support people, but to correct
underlying issues and restore function. Advanced Biostructural Correction offered a path where I
could help people improve, not just cope
