Sometimes familiar looks like safe.
The job
The role
The pattern
The income level
The identity
The version of you everyone knows

But familiar is not always safe. Sometimes it is just known.

You know how to survive there, how to perform there and you know what is expected of you there.

Even if it drains you or no longer fits, and even if a deeper part of you is whispering, “There is more.”

This was my story too.

I spent 23 years in the same company, became a board director, had the salary, the perks and the security.

Was it familiar and 100% financially safe. Absolutely!

But spiritually, emotionally, energetically? Big Fat No.

It required me to keep being a version of myself I had already outgrown.

So maybe the question is not:
“Is this safe?”

Maybe the question is:
“Is this genuinely safe for the person I am becoming?”

That is where the truth begins.

Which one do you need this month?

On 10th April, I wrote a post that began: “I should be on a plane to Bali right now.”

But I wasn’t. I’d cancelled my retreat.

I wrote about the shame, guilt and questioning that came with changing my mind and the realisation that it’s okay to admit the path you chose isn’t the right path at this particular moment.

What I didn’t know then was what would happen when I stopped trying to control what happened next. Because last year, if I’m honest, there was a lot more grip.
How do I fill the retreat?
Where do I find the people?
What should I post?
What else should I be doing?

That subtle urgency that says if I don’t make this happen, it won’t.

So this time, I leaned into trust. Not the passive, sit-on-the-sofa-and-wait-for-the-Universe kind of trust.

I still did the work. I meditated, breathed, got really clear on who I am, what I stand for and where I’m going and I kept showing up.
But I loosened my grip on the outcome. I stopped trying to engineer opportunities and allowed myself to have genuine, curious, no-agenda conversations.

And something shifted.

People started messaging me out of the blue. Some said that April post had really resonated, whilst others simply asked, “Are you doing Bali again?”

By 10th June, exactly two months later, all but one of the spaces on next year’s Bali Bliss Retreat had been filled. And now there is one space left.

But this isn’t really a “come and buy the last space” post. It’s about what this experience has taught me.

Trust doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means doing your part without believing you have to control every part.

And maybe trust isn’t believing everything will work out exactly as you planned. Maybe it’s trusting yourself enough to know you’ll be okay when it doesn’t.

It’s moving from “How am I going to make this happen?” to “What is mine to do, and what can I allow?”

You know, open hands receive far more easily than clenched ones. And I’m learning to unclench mine.

What keeps you motivated?

Receiving positive feedback from my clients is definitely a great motivator for me. It tells me that I’m on the right track and that I’m serving my clients in a way that supports them.

Breathwork is my passion. I get such a kick from showing participants the power of their breath and guiding them through participative, active breath, to deeply restorative and releasing meditative breath.

Hello there

I haven’t done this for a loooong while and I have a few more followers, so I thought I’d properly re-introduce myself.

I’m Sandra, your Clarity Coach and award winning International Retreat Leader.

I help capable men and women, who often look like they’re doing really well on the outside, but privately feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or frustrated that they keep getting in their own way.

My work is about helping you see what you can’t see, as so often, the thing holding us back isn’t a lack of ambition, intelligence or effort. It’s the hidden patterns, the pressure we’ve normalised, the beliefs running quietly in the background, the people-pleasing, the perfectionism, our nervous system living on high alert and the version of ourselves we’ve outgrown but keep trying to squeeze back into.

Through my Clarity Audits, group and 121 Coaching, Breathwork, Reiki, Human Design work and Blissful Retreats, I help people come back to themselves with more clarity, confidence and ease.

The best part of what I do?

Is there something about you that not many people would know?

One of my largest clients recently went into liquidation, which resulted in a huge loss of my consistent revenue stream.

And I noticed my first response almost immediately.
I did not stop.
I did not pause.
I did not give myself much time to absorb it.

My mind went straight into:
How do I replace this?
What do I need to offer?
What should I be doing next?
Should I work harder?
Should I be doing more?

And on the surface, that might look sensible.
Responsible, even.

But underneath it, I could feel something else starting to creep in.
Scarcity.
Pressure.
The belief that I needed to solve everything quickly.

And that is where many business owners get caught.

Because pressure does not always look like panic.
Sometimes it looks like productivity.
Sometimes it looks like being proactive.
Sometimes it looks like making plans, filling gaps, chasing leads, creating offers and trying to hold the whole thing together.

But clarity rarely comes from gripping harder.
When we are under pressure, we can lose access to the very things we need most:
Perspective.
Creativity.
Discernment.
Connection.
The ability to receive support.
The ability to see what is genuinely ours to carry.

There is a difference between taking responsibility and carrying over-responsibility.

Responsibility says:
“This needs my attention.”

Over-responsibility says:
“This is all mine to fix, and I need to fix it now.”

And that distinction matters, because the energy you make decisions from will shape the decisions you make.

Urgency creates noise.
Clarity creates direction.

So if you are in a season where things feel uncertain, instead of asking, “How do I solve everything immediately?” try asking:

What is actually true right now?
What am I predicting, assuming or trying to control?
What is the next clear step?

Not the whole plan. And certainly not the perfect answer.

Just the next honest and useful step.

Sometimes that is the most powerful place to begin.

It’s arrived! I found out in May that I had won an award. And my trophy has finally arrived!

So this is my little proud moment…

I’ve received the SME UK Enterprise Awards 2026 for:

“Excellence in Transformational Healing Sessions and Retreats 2026”

This feels super special, because this isn’t just about an award.

It’s about every breathwork session where someone has finally let go.

Every retreat where someone has remembered who they are.

Every coaching conversation where the fog has lifted.

Every Reiki session, workshop, circle and moment of transformation where someone has come back to themselves.

This work means so much to me, and to have it recognised in this way feels like a beautiful pause point.

A moment to breathe it in and a moment to say a huge thank you.

So, to every client, retreat guest, friend, supporter and beautiful human who has trusted me with their healing, growth and transformation….. I thank you.

Here’s to more clarity, connection, ease, expansion and coming home to ourselves.

I’m so honoured to share that I’ve received the UK Enterprise Award for Excellence in Transformational Healing Sessions and Retreats 2026.

And whilst it feels wonderful to be recognised, what really touches me is what this award represents.
It represents the work.

The breathwork sessions where people finally allow themselves to exhale.

The Reiki and energy healing spaces where the nervous system softens.

The coaching conversations where old patterns are seen clearly.

The retreats where people step away from the noise and remember who they are.

The moments when someone realises they are not broken, not behind, not too much, not too late. They are simply ready to come back to themselves.

This work is never about “fixing” people.

It’s about creating safe, grounded, transformational spaces where people can release what no longer serves them, reconnect with their own energy, and begin to trust themselves again.

So for anyone who has been thinking about coming to a session, joining a workshop, working with me, or stepping into a retreat, I hope this gives you reassurance.
