You Are Not Behind, You Are Right On Time!

Can I speak to someone today?

Maybe you look around and it feels like everyone else is further ahead.
Maybe you compare your chapter 3 to someone else's chapter 20.

Maybe you wonder if you have taken too long, if your window has passed.

I want you to stop right there. 🛑
Because here is the truth
You are not behind.
You are not too late.
You are not missing your moment.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be! 💫

God does not work on your neighbour's timeline.
He does not compare your journey to anyone else's.
And neither should you!
Every experience you have had.
Every detour you have taken.
Every season that felt like a delay.
Was actually preparation. 🌱

The woman who starts at 35 is not behind the woman who started at 25.
The woman who pivots at 50 is not too late.
The woman who is just finding her purpose at 60 is right on time! 💪🏾
Your timing is not delayed, it is divine! ✨

💪🏾 5 Lessons My Reinvention Journey Taught Me

If there is one thing my journey has shown me, it is that reinvention is not a straight line! 🌱
It is messy, beautiful, scary and rewarding all at the same time!
And along the way I have picked up some lessons that I wish someone had told me sooner, so today I am sharing them with you!

1. You do not have to feel ready to start 💡
I have stepped into rooms nervous, uncertain and questioning myself, and showed up anyway! Waiting until you feel ready is just fear wearing a disguise. Start anyway!

2. Nothing from your past is wasted 🌱
Accountancy. Finance. Data. Business. Beauty. Facilitation. Every single season, even the ones that felt like detours, was preparing me for exactly where I am today!

3. God's timing is always perfect 🙏🏾
There were moments I wanted things to move faster. Moments I questioned why doors were closing. But looking back, every twist and every turn was not an accident. It was preparation!

4. Reinvention is not starting over, it is building on everything you already are.
I did not throw away my past to reinvent myself. I took every skill, every experience and every lesson and built something new on top of it! Your history is not a liability, it is your foundation!

5. Consistency and courage matter more than perfection 💪🏾
Showing up imperfectly is always better than not showing up at all! The posts that did not get likes. The sessions where I stumbled. The days I wanted to give up. I kept going anyway and that is where the growth happened!

The Comeback Is Always Greater Than The Setback!

Can I be honest with you today?

There have been moments in my life when things did not go as planned.
Moments when I poured everything into something and it did not yield.
Moments when I took a bold step and stumbled.

Moments when I questioned everything, including myself.

Have you been there? 🌱
Maybe you started something and it did not work out the way you hoped.
Maybe you took a leap of faith and the landing was harder than expected.
Maybe life threw something at you that you did not see coming.

And in that moment everything inside you wanted to give up. 😔
But here is what I have learnt 👇🏾
Every setback is setting you up for a comeback! 💫
The business that did not work, taught you everything you needed for the one that will!

The relationship that ended, created space for something better!

The door that closed, was protecting you from what was behind it!
Nothing is ever wasted.

Your setback is not your final destination, it is simply a detour on the way to your destiny! 🌟

💪🏾 Own Your Story, Your Journey Is Your Power!
May is coming to an end and I cannot let it go without sharing something that has truly blessed my heart! 🙏🏾

For the past month I have had the honour of co-facilitating a virtual training programme on Transforming Business Workflow with Generative AI alongside Franca Ibuzo of Chesca Global Solutions for a remarkable group of media professionals! 💻✨
And as we wind down I am left with one overwhelming feeling of

Because here is what I have learnt in my own journey.

Your mindset is either your greatest asset or your biggest barrier.

There is no in between 💫

The same mind that says “ I cannot do this “ Is the same mind that can say “I was made for this”

The same mind that says “ It is too late for me” Is the same mind that can say “My best is yet to come”

The same mind that says “ Who am I to try?” Is the same mind that can say “ Who am I NOT to try ?”💪🏾

The difference is not talent
The difference is not opportunity
The difference is not age

The difference is what you choose to believe about yourself🌟

Take one thought that has been holding you back and flip it.

🧠 Mindset Monday,
Done Is Better Than Perfect!

Can I be honest with you today? 🌸

A few months ago I signed up for some AI courses.
I got my certification.
And then something unexpected happened.

I was asked to co-teach a month long virtual coaching programme on Generative AI for a media organisation! 💻✨
Was I ready?
Honestly? No. 😄
I was nervous.
I was uncertain.
I questioned whether I knew enough.
I wondered if I was the right person for it.
But I was excited.
And I was willing.
So I said yes anyway! 💪🏾

And you know what?
Three weeks in, I am showing up, I am delivering and I am getting better with every single session! 🌱
Nobody told me I had to be perfect before I started.
Nobody waited until they knew everything before they began.
The growth happens IN the doing, not before it! 💫
So today I want to ask you 👇🏾

What is that thing you have been
putting off because you do not feel ready enough?

That business.
That course.
That career change.
That bold new chapter.
