A little of the usual topic but……..
Please share for anyone who knew Dad and would love to come and celebrate him, his life, the daft stuff he sometimes said and did, the fact he wasn’t a chatty man about it but that his life was about making sure his family were looked after (even when he moaned about it, and everyone/everything that annoyed him 😂).
The grumpy grandad with endless love for his grand kids. The dog grandad that had his own games and fun with dotty and Rolo and the way he moaned but totally doted on them and being the walk guy.
The wife Christine Tennick that he would have done anything for until the end (and he did) and the almost 50 years of a marriage that isn’t a real one unless there’s ups and downs. A testament to them both 🥰❤️💫
I know how much he loved his siblings Michele Suddes, Mel Brown, (please share with our Melvyn!) despite being low key, that was just Dad, but I know. He knew. I hope you all know too 🫶🏻.
While it’s hard for all of us now he has gone, we want to have an event that celebrates who he was, old snake hips, his love for finishing the end of each line of a song (coz he didn’t know the whole thing), the man that had to have a ‘jimmy riddle’ before leaving the house every single time.
The man who would argue black is white, watch programmes on what Laura Mick Tennick would call ‘Saudi-Arabian sock weaving’.
Bring all your best memories. Laugh, if u need to cry. He wasn’t perfect but he was and will always be ours.
You know me, it’s always long when I care about something or someone.
Let’s send him off in style.
