Whipped up by hand in small batches, right here in the shop by our medical herbalist Kemar.

Shea butter with rosehip, evening primrose and apricot oil, plus vitamin E, finished with a fresh citrus scent.

It melts on contact and a little goes a long way.

Everyone keeps asking why I’m never on the shop floor… and when they do see me, it’s “Have you been on holiday?” 😅

I wish! Most days I’m in the back, pressing our small-batch tinctures, cutting roots and barks, checking and cleaning herbs, weighing, packing (so much packing), on the phone with suppliers… and yes, opening the dreaded HMRC post.

Because our tinctures are made in small batches, some sell out from time to time. Don’t worry, the next batch is always on its way 🌿

None of this would be possible without our amazing team 💚

While I’m in the workroom, they’re welcoming you, answering your questions and keeping the shop running 7 days a week.

Our small-batch Blue Vervain is back on the shelves. This batch was made the way we always make them: slowly, by hand, and in small quantities so every bottle gets the attention it deserves.

✨ How we make it ✨
We start with Jamaican Blue Vervain, chosen with care. The herb is given plenty of time to steep, then pressed and strained by hand before bottling. Small batches mean we can keep a close eye on quality from start to finish. No shortcuts, no mass production, just patience and plant love. 💚

🌱 Why Blue Vervain? 🌱
Blue Vervain is a much-loved plant in Caribbean bush medicine. It has traditionally been used to:
• Support a sense of calm and relaxation
• Ease everyday tension and stress
• Encourage restful sleep
• Support digestion

It’s one of those herbs that’s been passed down through generations. Maybe your grandparents might know it! 👵🏾
