TAROT CARD OF THE DAY: The 6 of Wands. On a basic level, we all desire praise and recognition for our hard work. We all want the chance to show our peers the best of our abilities and to be recognised by our community. This desire can start out innocent and benign but it’s very easy for it to become shadowy and malignant if not kept in check. When we first set out to do something, we are not always guaranteed instant feedback, praise or recognition. This should not discourage us from moving forward. It is important for us to continue on our path despite this and not make validation the only reason we are using our power in the world. If we move through the world in hard work, consistency and authenticity recognition and praise will follow as a result of this. TAROT CARD OF THE DAY: The Knight Of Cups. it’s okay to be moody sometimes 😩! I know it’s probably rare to hear this said, especially in our hyper social and hyper active paradigm, but it is very natural to get the urge to withdraw. The social pressure to conform can sometimes rob us of the time we need for self reflection and relaxation and force us into situations that drain our energy. You don’t always have to explain yourself to people who put pressure on you when you are are in need of repose. It is so important for you to give yourself the time and space that your intuition demands. Of curse being withdrawn for too long can lead to isolation so it is important to find the right balance. It is the day when hierarchy is subverted and the servant becomes the master. It is the day when millions of people gather around the world and call down the power of CHANGE! As our culture becomes more toxic, exploitative and narcissistic and profit centred, it is the duty of those who still hear the call of the earth to shake out of our complacency and fight for a better tomorrow, or there will be no tomorrow to fight for. We are living in uncomfortable times and we are constantly engaged in a psychological war against depression, anger, fear, and lack. “Those feelings of anguish and rage are the same itch the seed feels in the last days of winter, before it bursts open and sends its buds into the world” Change is coming and it is important that we make sure the change is beneficial and not destructive. TAROT CARD OF THE DAY: 5 of Wands. I’ve never really been afraid of conflict but I wasn’t always like this. I was bullied as a kid and when I finally learnt to stand up for myself well..., it was all upheaval from there 😀. Sometimes conflict is necessary. People fear conflict because the fear of being misunderstood or looking foolish can be paralysing but sometimes it’s just the thing we need to move forward. Conflict is key when it comes to protecting ourselves and protecting those who cannot protect themselves and there are many scenarios in which avoiding conflict can cause bigger issues to arise.
