"Backpacking left my shoulders feeling like rocks.”
That’s what this client said when he booked in.
After weeks of carrying a heavy backpack, his shoulders were extremely tight and pulled forward. One area that often gets overlooked in shoulder pain is the chest muscles.
When the chest becomes tight, it pulls the shoulders forward and creates tension through the neck, shoulders and upper back.
In this session I worked on releasing the pectorals and front of the shoulder to help restore better posture and reduce that heavy, tight feeling.
Sometimes the key to relieving shoulder tension isn’t always the back… it’s the front of the body.
