First movies take artistic license on things as directors claim to have a vision. As artists have their own visions and when live with historical events or time line facts. Movies can obscure things purely for entertainment purposes. Am I happy with the result of the Back To Black trailers? Not really, cause that is t the Amy I knew and what I am seeing is Simply an actresses interpretation of what they feel is a living breathing individual. Adding to the myth of celebrity. Also, amy didn’t have the bouffant when getting the Cynthia tattoo. Seeing it takes me back to that fateful day. Cause in effect she changed my life forever and I was brought into her circle. I want to stay in the fence but I don’t line what I see cause I know full well it’s all for dramatic effect. Amy was a one of a kind. There were two Amy’s. The Amy off stage and the Amy on stage. I loved the Amy off stage cause she could be a total sweetheart and a shy timid girl. Or my favourite a total bitch with teeth. What even more insulting is they try to emulate my room. As Fu***ng IF! But I digress what more insulting is that the art department refused me involvement with making the tattoos and even though I offered free of charge they declined. And THEY STILL
GOT THE GOD DMAN THINGS WRONG. But I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery good thing I had the tattoos copyrighted I am gonna say Yoko Oh No!

And on the days I pick up a tattoo machine. I have to say that I really never wanted to tattoo in a particular style or like other people. I was pretty much told by if I wanted to succeed, I should keep my pie hole shut and do what is put in front of me and or told what to do. And in the 27 years in tattooing the game and field have changed drastically. Yet there are some designs that come easy to me and ones I m love doing. For me it’s the unconventional tattoos that always make me smile. The weird ones. The odd and unconventional ones. As my journey is shifting more towards art. The tattoo work. I am always reminded to try and strive and remain healthy n my lane and bang my own drum. As you should too. It’s what makes us different. Stay you people 🙏❤️🙏

Sometimes I pimp out work done by another artist. The before was done by another artist whom changed the design without telling the client. A simple case of “what I ordered vs what I got” . The key is to understand contrasts and gradients I suppose. Thanks to Michele whom left very happy
