💙 Out in the Community! 💙

Yesterday, we held a health check pop-up at Sonali Gardens Day Centre, offering free health checks including blood pressure and oxygen level checks to members of the local community.

It was wonderful to meet so many new faces, have some great conversations, and provide a little extra support and reassurance along the way.

A huge thank you to Sonali Gardens for welcoming us and to everyone who stopped by to see us. We had a fantastic time and look forward to returning soon! 😊

Today is a day to celebrate, honour and take pride in the Autistic community. Autism is not something to be fixed — it is a different and beautiful way of experiencing the world. Every Autistic person has their own unique strengths, perspectives and talents that make our world richer. 🌟

At Bluebird Care we are proud to support Autistic individuals and their families, providing personalised care that is tailored to each person’s individual needs, communication style and preferences. We believe that with the right support, understanding and respect, every person can thrive. 💛

We are lucky enough to witness the most incredible bonds between our carers and the people they support. One of our Care Experts has supported the same Autistic customer for nearly 20 years, and their mum shared these touching words 💬 “The best thing about Nani is that she looks after Meeli more than me! She knows how to best work with her and support her safely. Meeli is always asking ‘is Nani coming, is Nani coming’” 💬
