Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home care setting.
Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with families and team members.
Drive to clients' homes as needed, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Must have a full, clean UK driving license.
At least 6 months of experience in care
Must have a valid enhanced DBS on the update service or one can be processed for you
Must have the right to work in the UK
Must have some flexibility
Must have Business Insurance

Full time 37.5 hours or part time available

Pay - £13.35 to 13.85 mileage is included in pay

We are urgently hiring a compassionate and reliable Female Live-in Carer to support a client in the Colchester Essex area.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a great daily rate, a clear 1-week-on/off rota, and the chance to save on living costs.
✨ Position: Live-in Female Carer
📍 Location: Colchester, Essex
⏰ Rota: 1 week on, 1 week off (7 days on, 7 days off)
💰 Pay: £160.20 per day (paid for each day on-duty) + separate food allowance provided

🔹 What You'll Be Doing:
Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene)
Assisting with mobility and safe transfers
Preparing nutritious meals and doing light housework
Administering or prompting medication
Offering companionship and emotional support

A driving licence is essential

What We're Looking For:
✅ Female carer (due to client's personal care preference)
✅ Previous care experience (minimum 1 year preferred; live-in experience is a bonus)
✅ Valid right to work in the UK – PLEASE NOTE: No sponsorship is available for this role (must have ILR, Dependent visa, British citizenship, or other existing right to work)
✅ Patient, kind, reliable, and comfortable with the 1-week-on / 1-week-off rota
✅ Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one on the update service
