Self-reflection and self-criticism can sound surprisingly similar. Both often appear after something goes wrong, but they lead us in very different directions.

Self-criticism turns one moment into a verdict about who you are:
“I skipped a workout, so I have no discipline.”
“They didn’t reply, so I must have done something wrong.”

Self-reflection stays with the situation:
“What made today difficult?”
“What can I learn from this?”
“What would be a realistic next step?”

One voice looks for someone to blame. The other helps you understand what happened and move forward without turning every mistake into proof that something is wrong with you.

Which voice sounds more familiar to you?

Save this post and come back to it the next time your inner critic gets loud.

Choosing therapy can become one of the most important decisions in a person’s life. It won’t fix everything overnight, but unresolved pain rarely stays contained.

In this clip from Julia Kril’s conversation with Pleso co-founder and CEO Oleksandr Bondariev, he explains why working through painful experiences can change not only our own lives, but also how we show up in relationships, in our families, and for the people we love.

Sometimes the brave step is simply deciding not to carry it alone anymore.

What helped you take that first step?

Human psychology has its own math. It can get complicated, but once you know a few formulas everything clicks
and not always the way you’d expect. Add one thing to another and you get the result. Try it with a few simple equations 🧐

The way we apologise says a lot about how we handle conflict and taking responsibility.
In this carousel, we break down the difference between a sincere apology and a toxic apology, and why one actually moves things forward while the other turns the other person’s feelings into the problem.
Save this post so it’s easier to spot the difference between a defensive reaction and healthy communication.

Therapy is often framed as something people turn to when they can’t cope on their own.😔 But asking for support usually demands the opposite of weakness: honesty, effort, and the courage to face what you’ve been avoiding.

In this clip from Julia Kril’s conversation with Pleso co-founder and CEO Oleksandr Bondariev, they discuss why taking the first step into therapy can be one of the bravest things a person does.

What made therapy feel possible for you or what still makes the first step difficult?đŸ€”

A birthday is not always a joyful day. For some people, it becomes a moment when they compare where they are now with where they thought they should already be.
Instead of celebrating only achievements, we want to talk honestly about sadness, unmet expectations, and the pressure of personal deadlines.
