Honestly, I bet you’ve made this mistake before when you thought to yourself ‘I’m finally going to stop doing Xx’
Of course xx is something you’ve been doing for ages like biting your nails, smoking, or forgetting to drink that glass of water but NEVER forgetting to finish off that glass of wine!!
So what is it?
I’d say it’s thinking you can break an old habit and make a new one by repeating it 21 times.
21 times. Really??
Ladies, when you consider how clever and crafty and complicated your brain is, this number does seem pretty low.
According to research, some people can make a new habit in around 25 repetitions but for some people it can take up to 8 months!
So whatever habit you’re planning to introduce or get rid off, remember 21 days may not be enough, so give yourself a chance and don’t give up too soon!!!
