About to deliver a talk on Living Well with Pain. Patients with chronic pain tend to have behaviours and thoughts that may not be too helpful with the management.

Through this talk I go through what pain is, ACT core principles, and some more advice on management.

Excited to take part in this weekend course on Cognitive Functional Therapy, which is a fantastic clinical reasoning, communication, and behavioural (and much more!) approach to chronic back pain, and likely to have implications in other musculoskeletal presentations.

As osteopaths, we’re continually on a journey of learning and self-improvement; to expand our understanding, refine our skills, and evolve how we support our patients. Courses like this are a great opportunity to challenge our thinking, embrace new evidence, and keep growing both personally and professionally.

Finally done! It took a while for my MSc thesis to get published; juggling a new job, business, and research (and sorting out a wedding!) is pretty challenging.

This is only the protocol, so the hard work starts again! I'm very proud and going to start the official search soon, with the help of my supervisors and team.

The upcoming scoping review is about fear-avoidance in MSK conditions, and what the current interventions are to target this. A scoping review targets a broad research question involving a comprehensive search of the literature.

Hi all,

I hope you are all well.

I'm doing the Pedal Paddle Peak charity event with my cousin and family to raise awareness and money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Sadly, my cousin's child, Lance, has recently been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This currently has no cure.

We are raising support for Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK), which is a charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. They fund groundbreaking research into treatments and potential cures, and also provide support for individuals and families living with these conditions.

Graduating with a distinction 👨‍🎓 in my MSc in Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Healthcare and Rehabilitation from UCL has been challenging whilst working full time and studying.
