There’s a rhythm to practice that can’t be rushed.
In this short sequence I’m moving into a tripod headstand but the focus isn’t the pose , it’s how I manage to arrive there.

Step 1: arrive in your body
(Notice your breath, your hands, your base. Nothing fancy yet just grounding.)

Step 2: support yourself fully
(Build stability first, take your time, don’t rush the lift.)

Step 3: breathe instead of forcing
(As you go upside down, stay connected to your breath rather than pushing for the shape.)

A note of wellbeing: control isn’t the goal , awareness is.
Even in challenging poses, I feel the practice is learning to stay present with yourself, not to ā€œperformā€ the shape perfectly.

For the past three years I’ve been exploring yoga alongside Ayurveda, and it completely changed how I approach wellbeing ✨

So what is Ayurveda?

It’s an ancient system from India that looks at how we stay balanced in daily life , through movement, food, rest, routine and lifestyle. It explains that we all have different ā€œtypesā€ (doshas), and we don’t feel the same every day.

Some days we need grounding.

Some days calming.

Some days energy and movement.

So how is it different from ā€œnormalā€ yoga?

Traditional yoga often follows one general style or sequence.
Ayurvedic yoga adapts the practice to you , your constitution (dosha), your current state, and even the season.

This can include:
• adapting the movement (slow / soft / dynamic)
• choosing specific pranayama (breathing techniques)
• supporting with simple Ayurvedic herbs or teas
• focusing on what balances your nervous system in that moment

So yoga becomes less about one fixed way of doing things, and more about what actually brings you back into balance.

I’m interested in practices that help people feel more balanced, more connected to themselves, and less stuck in performance culture.

Not perfect wellness.
Just real practices for real life ā™”ā€

In a world that constantly demands from us, and rarely encourages us to slow down or look inwards, I think we need to do the opposite and come back to ourselves. To our body, mind, and soul.
Today I guided my first yoga session in the park and what I enjoyed most was offering people space to be fully here and now , to challenge their body, breathe, and reconnect.
Not perfection, just openness and reconnection. It felt really magical… and you’re welcome to join the next one šŸ’›

Note about Vienna:

There’s something about this city…
People move quietly,
minding their own lives,
everything feels calm, almost held together in its own way.
No rush, no noise.
Maybe that’s why he feels at ease here.
Even in his own way… a little different, a little eccentric,
he still fits.
And I love seeing him like this.

Some places don’t just hold memories.
They hold people we love, exactly as they are.

For me, it’s Vienna.

Where is that place for you?

Why we do saunas & cold plunges

Heat helps us soften and release.
Cold brings us back to the present.

Together, they teach balance, breath, and resilience.
A simple way to reset the body and quiet the mind.

Today I taught my first 75-minute class as part of my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training practise.
What a journey this is for me , it’s not a walk in the park, and I’m far from perfect.
I’m working on my memory and realising that breathing is more important than we think.
Choosing wellbeing, living with intention, and practising what we preach.
So grateful for this experience šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļøāœØthank you
