Really happy to see this design come together!
This leg piece tells the story of Hades and Persephone from Greek mythology.
Each element represents a part of the story; Hades above and Persephone below, holding the pomegranate that bound her to the Underworld for part of each year.
The skull represents the Underworld, while the flowers and plants represent Persephone’s mother, Demeter, goddess of the harvest. In her grief while Persephone was gone, Demeter allowed nothing to grow, bringing winter to the earth until her daughter returned.
Loved putting all the different elements of the story together into one piece. ⚔️
