Today my WFH is at where is housed....
The shop is full of unexpected crafty finds amongst which my edibles.
I love going there because I get to do some sampling while doing some of my admins....
On 28 November, all the makers will be at the Hill Traders Christmas Market at from 2-6pm.

Yesterday, i met a woman who hated mustard....
Guess what she went home with? It wasn't the mustard, it was how it was always been presented to her.

I get into a lot of conversations about what people don't like eating and why they think they hate this or that... Aside from allergies, I really try to encourage my customers not to dump whole groups of foods because of that dinner lady who kept forcing dead beetroot on you when you were 5.

In my case, I love peanuts, they are my favourite, but i get a bad reaction from peanut butter or the big pink peanuts...
Now, I know that it's not the nut, it's the fumes or a variety...

I like salmon and shrimp, but even in Marks & Spencer's ready meals, I get sick... So now, I only eat things I cook them myself... I can't tell what the difference is, but I listen to what my body screams and change how I consume things ...

Avocado, Supermarkets avocados make me sick, only the African buttery ones work for me...

Because of all that, I can help my customers pin point their exact problems with some food groups... Isn't that amazing?

I feel like am in a position of privilege with my business and I use it without restraint..

So, tell me, how can what food do you avoid and why?

Today was a real experience under the trees canopy at ...
I am really thankful for the extra hour sleep because for most of the humans deambuling about, i think our bodies were living ahead of us... Which meant that we all were fully awake to take on the gigantic gusts of angry winds...

Not only was it sunnier, but people were in a happier disposition and very willing to stop, chat and go through my nutty sampling journeys...

Because of that, the constant destruction on my (our) display(s) and breakage of my signs were almost background activities... The winds were almost like caged tigers demanding attention at times, but I and all the vendors had a good time because of the sun and the happy visitors... So a massive THANK you if you dropped by today. Thank you for supporting small businesses.
