Thank you to FILORGA for sending me this SPF 50 to try!

As a GP and aesthetic doctor, I’m always interested in finding sunscreens that offer high protection, no nonsense ingredients while feeling comfortable on the skin. Especially when it comes to pigmentation and maintaining healthy skin alongside aesthetic treatments.

First impressions? No obvious white cast on my initial trial! 👀 That’s always a big plus, particularly for deeper skin tones.

FILORGA is a French skincare brand, and this formula also contain hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), which helps hydrate the skin.

But the real question is… how does it perform throughout the day? 👀

“If you were to do my lip filler, how would you do them?”

My answer? I wouldn’t try to make you look like someone else.

I’d look at your natural lip shape, proportions, symmetry and facial features, then use filler to enhance what you already have while keeping the result balanced and natural.

This patient wanted subtle enhancement, not a completely different look. The aim was to improve definition, shape and volume while preserving her natural features.

And her reaction afterwards?
“Oh, they are perfect.” 🤍

Allow me to reintroduce myself 🤍

I’m Dr Rina, an NHS GP and award-winning aesthetic doctor on Pinner High Street in NW London.

My journey into aesthetics became personal after pregnancy, when I struggled with pigmentation and low confidence. Having injectable treatments myself was a game changer and completely changed the way I viewed aesthetics.

It showed me that treatments like filler, polynucleotides, skin boosters and Botox can be subtle, natural and simply help you feel more like yourself.

That’s exactly what I want to share with my patients through safe, evidence based and tailored treatments.

Outside of clinic, I’m a mum, I love keeping fit and I’m slightly obsessed with K dramas 🙊

A little look at the Croma UK coffee morning ☕️

Such a fun day meeting like-minded people in aesthetics, connecting with other practitioners and learning about some exciting new injectable products.

The learning never stops in aesthetics. It’s so important to keep educating yourself, staying up to date with what’s available and understanding the products you’re using, so you can make informed decisions about what’s right for your patients.

I’m always looking at what’s out there and carefully considering what I bring into my clinic, to make sure I’m offering the best options for my patients.

So… watch this space 👀

Some people meditate, I do aesthetics. There is something so therapeutic in carrying out aesthetics treatments. When you are here for your appointment, it really is all about you, your anatomy and the syringe 💉. There truly is an art to it and I thank every single patient who has trusted me with their results 🤍
