Vision Action Vision Action works for a world in which everyone has affordable access to eye care and glasses

Vision Action sees a world where no one lives in poverty because of poor eyesight and no one lives with poor eyesight because of poverty. Our mission is to enable people living in poverty to access affordable spectacles and eye care, and our goal is to support the achievement of Universal Eye Health Coverage with a focus on reducing visual impairment and blindness caused by Uncorrected Refractive Error.

🎉 20% of the way there! We've now raised more than £10,000 towards our £50,000 emergency appeal target. 🎉

Can you help us protect vital eye care services for children and families across Sub-Saharan Africa?

Like many charities, Vision Action is facing rising costs and reduced funding. We are working urgently to close a funding gap that threatens our ability to continue delivering eye tests, glasses, screenings and sight-saving treatment to communities where access to eye care is often limited or simply unavailable.

While we're encouraged by this early progress, there is still a long way to go. Every donation brings us closer to ensuring children can continue learning, playing and building brighter futures through better sight.

A message from the Vision Action Co-CEOs...

This week, Vision Action is launching a £50,000 appeal to help protect and expand essential eye health services for children and communities living in poverty.

Across the countries where we work, too many people are still living with avoidable vision impairment simply because they cannot access basic eye care, glasses, or treatment.

We are incredibly grateful that bloobloom has already contributed the first £10,000 towards our target. Now, we are inviting our wider community to help us raise the remaining £40,000.

Your support could help provide eye screenings, glasses, treatment, and sight-saving care for children and adults who would otherwise go without, including through programmes like our child eye health work in Ghana.

Together, we can help people see clearly, learn confidently, support their families and fulfil their potential.
