To every client who has supported me through maternity leave — thank you. 🤍

Motherhood has a funny way of changing your perspective on everything.

I’m incredibly grateful for the understanding, patience and kindness you’ve shown while I’ve navigated becoming a mum of two, recovering, and finding my way back into work.

So many of you are mothers yourselves. Some are working full-time, running businesses, building careers, raising families — often doing all of it at once and somehow trying to find a little space for yourselves in between.

I see you. And I understand.

This business has always been about more than aesthetics for me. It’s about creating a space where women can take an hour for themselves, without guilt, without rushing and without feeling like they have to choose between being a great mum and investing in themselves.

I’m learning that balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly. Sometimes it’s simply doing what you can, when you can — and giving yourself a little grace along the way.

Botox for men in Surrey doesn’t have to look like you’ve had Botox.

In fact, the best result often looks like… nothing happened.

Let’s call out one of the biggest problems in aesthetics: sometimes the industry sells the IMAGE of expertise better than the expertise itself.

A glossy magazine feature.
A prestigious-sounding postcode.
A shelf full of awards.
A beautifully curated Instagram feed.
A luxury car parked outside the clinic.
A lifestyle that looks successful.

But none of those things can inject a face.

And none of them, on their own, make someone a better clinician.

There is an uncomfortable amount of emphasis placed on perception in aesthetics — and I think patients deserve to look beyond the marketing.

Because a postcode doesn’t equal skill.

A magazine feature doesn’t equal clinical experience.

An award doesn’t replace qualifications.

Followers don’t demonstrate anatomy knowledge.

And displaying personal wealth doesn’t tell you how carefully someone will assess, treat or manage your face.

I’m not interested in pretending otherwise.

I’m a doctor, and I take the clinical side of aesthetics seriously.

I would much rather spend my money and time on further education, advanced training, clinical experience, anatomy, technique and constantly improving what I can offer my patients than chasing recognition for recognition’s sake.

No airs and graces.
No smoke and mirrors.
No pretending aesthetics is about how much you can look like you’re worth.

It’s about what you actually know.

How you assess.

How you treat.

How you manage complications.

Knowing when to say no.

And having the humility to keep learning.
