The complications case will always remember, and the ones that always make her the most sad.

The good news is that many complications that come through her door can be managed and resolved without surgical intervention and patients can be left unscarred - if picked up quickly, with the right practitioner, that has the right tools.

One of our most in demand masterclasses is BACK. With previous dates selling out, UK injectors are securing their places early to stay ahead of the latest Sculptra® body protocols.

As an award-winning UK aesthetics training academy led by surgeons and global educators for Sculptra® - we need to UK injectors to know:

The way we approach Sculptra® for the Body has evolved. New data is here, and if you're still using old protocols, it's time to catch up.

→ It's no longer about volume.
Upper arms are now treated as a skin quality problem, not a volume deficit. We're targeting crepey skin, laxity, and dermal thinning - for subtle tightening, improved texture, and collagen remodelling.

→ Dilutions are higher (and more controlled) - the biggest update.
Old thinking: 5–8ml dilution
Now: commonly 10–20ml total dilution per vial
Why? Better spread across large surface areas, reduced nodule risk, and more even stimulation.

→ The injection plane has moved more superficial.
We're now working in the superficial subcutaneous / deep dermal interface, because this is where the problem sits. Smoother, more natural results and fewer complications.

→ Technique is all about distribution.
Cannula is now preferred for most body work. Wide fanning, multiple passes, no bolus. You're "washing" the tissue rather than placing pockets of product.

→ Structured treatment intervals and courses.
Most protocols now follow 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with maintenance over time. Consistency = better collagen response.

→ Combination therapy is now the standard.
Sculptra® is rarely used alone for arms anymore. Combining with RF microneedling, skin tightening devices, and other regenerative treatments is how you truly treat laxity and crepey skin.
