Would you like to volunteer to support young people at our Transition to Adulthood programme?

Join our team of volunteers to:
▪️ Support young people with activities relating to their transitions into adulthood
▪️ Help develop their confidence and independence
▪️ Provide support to help them achieve their goals

Meetings can take place at Markfield or out in the community, to achieve goals or activities chosen by the young people, with support from their caseworker.

Volunteers will receive training and support from the Transition to Adulthood lead.

Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities

Free parenting course in Haringey - September to December 2026

Our Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities 12-week course is delivered by qualified trainers and is accredited by the Race Equalities Foundation. The course offers parents a safe space to be listened to, meet others from different communities & cultural backgrounds, and provides help to:
▪️ build a stronger relationship with your children, and learn practical strategies to put effective boundaries in place
▪️ get information and ideas to help you make decisions about bringing up your children
▪️ find out about support services for families in the Haringey area.
Each session includes a free lunch.

📅 Wednesday 9th September to Wednesday 9th December 2026
⏰️ 10.00am to 2.00pm, once a week for 13 weeks
📍 Markfield Community Centre, Tottenham, N15 4RB

👉️ Introductory session: Wednesday 9th September 2026 👈️

Places are free
To get a place on the course you must commit to attending all the sessions (13 weeks)

Our Summer Playscheme is back this August, giving disabled and non-disabled children the chance to play, make friends and enjoy a wide range of activities together in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

We're pleased to be part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme this year, helping even more families access the playscheme, including siblings of children with SEND.

🌟 Saturday Play Sessions 🌟

Our adventure playground is open on Saturdays from 11am–3pm.

Join us for inclusive outdoor fun, whatever the weather. The playground will be open to the whole community, offering children and families a unique space to play, explore, create, and make new friends.

🎠 Enjoy:
✨ Slides & swings
✨ Trampoline
✨ Climbing structures
✨ Zip wire
✨ Bonfire pit
✨ And plenty of adventure!

👧🧒 Who can attend?
• Children aged 8+ who are confident and do not require supervision may attend independently.
• Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent, carer, or responsible adult.
