A poor nightโ€™s sleep can affect everything from mood and concentration to overall wellbeing.

New research published in 2026 explored how medical cannabis influenced sleep in adults diagnosed with insomnia. Using EEG monitoring, researchers observed that participants experienced calmer brain activity as they fell asleep, without measurable next day impairment in alertness or reaction time.

Last year, we were honoured to take home Clinic of the Year. To be recognised again, and this time across four categories spanning our clinic here in the UK and the united Cantourage Group across Europe, is something we donโ€™t take for granted.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a body-wide network that helps regulate things like sleep, mood, appetite, pain, stress and immune response, basically, your bodyโ€™s balancing system.

Itโ€™s also the reason cannabinoids like THC and CBD can interact with the body in the first place.

Understanding the ECS changes the conversation around medical cannabis, and how it can become targeted, personalised care.
