Yes, brows can have cowlicks too. A small upward swirl in the inner brow is something I see often in clinic. It happens when the follicles grow in slightly different directions, creating a natural lift in the medial brow. Interestingly, many patients with this pattern also have sparse or missing tails. The inner brow remains strong while the body and tail gradually thin. In these cases we can restore the full brow rather than chasing individual gaps, rebuilding a natural flow from the head through to the tail. A reminder that all brows and transplanted brows are different.

Brows may be small, but they are not a quick procedure!
Every single step is deliberate. The shape is discussed, drawn and measured carefully against the face and brow bone. The incisions are then created slowly and thoughtfully, because each one determines where and how that hair will grow. There is a pattern to eyebrow hair, and every angle matters. Grafts are harvested, prepared and again individually trimmed and then placed by hand, one by one. This all takes time attention to detail and you have to be a little obsessed with it 😉

Removing permanent makeup, brows do not always return to a neutral colour...
In some cases the pigment fades to this fluorescent yellow tone after laser treatments. It is one of the most stubborn colours to remove and can remain even after multiple sessions.
For this patient, the solution was not more laser. We restored the brows with an eyebrow hair transplant, using TBL method and real hair obviously to rebuild natural structure and soften the remaining pigment.
The result is a natural brow again.
Sometimes the best correction is not removing more pigment, but restoring real hair.

After permanent makeup removal, brows do not always return to a neutral colour.

Did you know a lot of men actually have quite sparse brows?
It is not something many men think about, but the eyebrows play a huge role in framing the eyes and giving structure to the face. Even small refinements in density can make a really big difference.
The aim here was not to create an overly groomed or shaped brow, but simply to strengthen his existing natural brow shape, keeping his mountain peaks strong and the result looking natural and masculine.
Our patient also has naturally curly, coily hair texture, which requires a specialist team so that when the grafts are placed the hairs grow in the correct direction.
We focused on adding density through the body and tail of the brow while keeping the natural peak.
No product in here. Just natural growth!

One of my very first patients, . I love seeing her new photoshoot and her TBL brows still looking sensational.
We both had our brows done back in 2019. So much has changed in the procedure since then. Technique, precision, and the way we approach design have evolved enormously.
I still find myself in awe of the results we can achieve today, but it is also important to remember where it all started and how far the field has come.
Seeing patients years later, still feeling confident and happy with their brows, never stops being special to me. It is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. ✨
