When .co.uk took this photo  of and I seven years ago, I was dreaming about selling my aromatherapy products at markets.

The dream was there, but the timing wasn't.
Less than a year later, thanks to Shannon's support, the wonderful community she created during lockdown, and guidance from the Aromatherapy Trade Council, I started creating products that I could share with a wider audience.

Now, two years on from my first market, Shannon and I will be trading together this Sunday 7th June.

Looking at this photo reminds me that not every dream needs to happen immediately. Sometimes it just needs time, patience and a few people who believe in you along the way.

And for that, I'm incredibly grateful. 🩷

Something a little different today.

I was recently reminded how easy it is to get off track with our goals. It's part of being human.

Life happens. We get busy, distracted, overwhelmed, or sometimes we simply lose confidence in ourselves and the direction we're heading in.

This morning, during my spiritual practice, I revisited a video by Brad Yates. I've been following his work for years and have built up a playlist of favourite videos for just about every emotion and experience life throws my way.

It's been a while since I've shared one of his videos, but this particular one is for those moments when I feel stuck or start to doubt myself.

On days like that, you'll often find me with my Happiness or Get Focused essential oil blend diffusing in the background while I take a few moments to reset, refocus and reconnect with what matters.

The older I get, the more I realise that getting off track isn't the problem. The important thing is noticing it and finding your way back.

I'd love to know, what helps you get back on track when self-doubt starts to creep in?

June is here and I'm super excited.
It's not just because I'm doing my first market of the year this Sunday with .

On the massage side, I've just completed my first in-person massage CPD in nearly seven years: Myofascial Release.

I have to give a shout-out to and for delivering a fantastic course. It was hands-on from the start, packed with techniques that I knew would benefit my clients.

What I wasn't expecting was how quickly I'd start seeing the difference.

The course was so good that I started incorporating some of the techniques into treatments before I'd even finished it.
Since then, clients have reported feeling lighter, moving more freely, and experiencing relief in areas that have been holding tension for much longer than they realised.

After 13 years as a therapist, it's exciting to discover something that complements the way I already work and helps me support my clients on an even deeper level.

If you're booked in with me over the coming weeks, I can't wait to share these techniques with you.

I knew May was going to be an epic month, but wow… that flew by. 😅

Between work, family birthdays, projects, and life doing what life does, I’m glad the month is ending with a little heatwave and half-term so I could finally slow things down a bit. 😂

These days, I do my best to take my foot off the gas when I need to. Much to the annoyance of those around me sometimes. 😆 But I’ve learnt that constantly running on empty helps no one.

My headphones have honestly become one of my best self-care tools lately. A little barrier between me and the noise, the requests, and the pressure to always be available.

Because I ain’t anyone’s superwoman.

Truthfully? I put down my cape ages ago, and I have no intention of picking it back up.

Rest.
Quiet.
Space to think.
Space to breathe.
Time away from overstimulation.

It’s all necessary.

We are amazing human beings when we are not continuously operating from a place of stress.

So if May has wrung you out a little too, this is your reminder that slowing down is allowed. ❤️

I don’t know what to make of the UK weather right now. One minute it’s “get the winter coat back out”, the next it’s “where are my summer clothes because the mercury is rising.”

Meanwhile, I’ve mixed up some hydrolat water to spritz and keep me cool because it really doesn’t take much to raise my temperature these days. Thank you, perimenopause. 🫠

Honestly though, I’m not mad at the sunshine. I just need my nervous system, wardrobe and body temperature to catch up with each other first.

It’s Tuesday, which means I’m back today. ✨

One thing this work has taught me is just how much people are carrying in their bodies.

The shoulders that haven’t properly relaxed in months.
The tight neck.
The clenched jaw that’s become “normal.”

I think many of us have become so used to operating from a place of stress and overdrive, we don’t even realise how much tension we’re holding until the body finally gets chance to soften.

That’s why I believe so deeply in massage.
Not as an indulgence, but as relief.

With my May diary now fully booked, June appointments are already moving quickly.

And if weekends work better for you, I’ll also be back on Saturday 13th June. ✨

With another bank holiday and half-term on the horizon in the UK, this week may feel like a bit of a struggle to get through.

So here are a few aromatherapy blends and products to support you through the week…

🍊 Need a more invigorating start to the morning?

Mix equal drops of Lemon, Sweet Orange and Fragonia into a small bottle and add 1–2 drops to a soapy sponge or flannel before your shower.

Such a lovely uplifting blend for sluggish mornings.

🌿 Hit the afternoon slump?

My Think Clearly blend with Peppermint, Spike Lavender, Plai and Roman Chamomile is one I often reach for when I need a little afternoon pick me up without automatically reaching for another coffee.

💆🏾‍♀️ Need to switch off after a hectic day?

Try a little self massage after your bath or shower.

Blend the following into 50ml of your chosen base oil:

✨ 7 drops Sweet Orange
✨ 6 drops Elemi
✨ 5 drops Petitgrain (or 3 drops Neroli)
✨ 2 drops Rose

Use on tired shoulders, feet or hands for an ultra relaxing blend that can help you properly unwind at the end of the day.

🌙 And if you still find yourself wired but tired…

Sweet Dreams rollerball on your pulse points before bed or 5 drops in your diffuser whilst you wind down for the evening can work wonders.

Sometimes small supportive rituals can make busy weeks feel a little more manageable.

I knew this week was going to be epic and a masterclass in practising what I like to preach 😂

After 2 birthdays, tomorrow, these are some of the things that have been supporting me this week.

What’s been supporting you this week?

And don't fret, I am still drinking my water. 😉
