**Have you ever known something wasn't quite right before your mind had caught up?**
Perhaps you agreed to something and later realised you'd had a knot in your stomach the whole time.
Perhaps you met someone who seemed perfectly nice, but something felt off.
Perhaps you've walked into a room and instantly felt more relaxed without knowing why.
We often think of emotions as something that happens in our minds, but our bodies are constantly giving us information too.
A tight chest.
A lump in the throat.
Butterflies in the stomach.
Heavy shoulders.
A sense of ease.
Sometimes our bodies notice things before our thoughts do.
This doesn't mean every feeling is a warning.
It doesn't mean every sensation is intuition.
It simply means that our bodies are part of the conversation.
Many of us have spent years talking over ourselves, pushing through tiredness, ignoring discomfort, dismissing feelings, and convincing ourselves we're fine.
Learning to reconnect with yourself often begins with something much simpler:
Pausing.
Taking a breath.
And asking,
*"What am I noticing right now?"*
Not to judge it.
Not to fix it.
Not even to understand it.
Just to notice.
✨ A few questions to explore:
• What am I feeling in my body right now?
• Where do I notice it most?
• If this feeling could describe itself in one word, what would it say?
• What might I need in this moment?
✨ Gentle reminders:
• I don't have to ignore myself to keep moving forward.
• My feelings are information, not instructions.
• I can be curious about my experience without judging it.
• I am learning to listen to myself with kindness.
Sometimes the first step towards feeling better isn't finding the answer.
It's learning to pay attention.
