Transport for London (TfL) is trialling Auracast technology on London buses, exploring how it could make public transport more accessible for people with hearing loss.

At Harley Street Hearing, we’re excited about this because many of the hearing aids we offer are Auracast-enabled. We were also the first hearing clinic in the UK to install the Auracast system.

What could this mean for you?
-Clearer audio streamed directly to compatible hearing aids
-Easier-to-hear announcements in busy environments
-Greater accessibility across public spaces, from transport to theatres and cinemas

As Auracast becomes more widely available, compatible hearing aids could help you make the most of this technology.

Already have compatible hearing aids? You may be able to benefit from Auracast as it becomes available in more public spaces.

Thinking about new hearing aids? Auracast compatibility is one of the features we can discuss when finding the right hearing solution for you.

We asked attendees: “What advice would you give to younger people navigating hearing loss in the workplace?”

Their responses were honest, thoughtful, and full of encouragement - sharing messages of confidence, resilience, and embracing every opportunity.
