🌌✨ Dive into the cosmic journey of “Saturn Walk: Embodying Listening” by China Blue, an innovative performance exploring the resonances of Saturn’s rings. Presented in collaboration with experts Seth S. Horowitz, PhD, and Lance T. Massey, and curated by Elga Wimmer. 🎼🪐

This unique soundwalk blends mindful meditation and a labyrinth inspired by Saturn’s North Pole hexagonal cloud formation. Engage in a public participatory experience that harnesses Feng Shui to channel the cultural spirit through sound, encouraging connectivity and enhancing mental health through the art of listening.

I think Dance has been my favorite language, throughout all my life. Before knowing I am neurodivergent, I thought it was a passion that grew in me naturally since I was little, something that I ‘just continued after taking the first dance classes’.
Now I know it has been the place where I feel and felt most myself, where I felt capable and emotionally connected, where things make sense, where a lot of barriers fade, where I found refuge and also challenges.

After the Master in Dance, I felt dry, I felt I lost the point… the economy of the everyday life took the lead and I left dance aside.

I felt sad lately, couldn’t figure out what was not making me feel positive about life. I couldn’t intimately recognize myself anymore.

Last weekend I danced again, in my mother language - I found myself, again. We danced through generational gaps and opened the gateways of perception. Everything all at once. A sphere with millions of open doors, that’s what dance improvisation is for me.

Tamalpa UK is offering a one-day Tamalpa Life Art Process® workshop, with Lauren Dowse at South East Dance, in Brighton, East Sussex.

The introduction day is geared towards participants who wish to explore the wisdom their own body has to offer. No movement or dance experience is necessary. The day is also for participants who have an established movement practice and are curious to discover how specific Tamalpa tools can deepen or develop their practice further.

DOMUS DES è la prima delle azioni previste da DESTINAZIONI 2022 ed è pensata per promuovere l’incontro fra persone e per favorire la condivisione dei valori della danza all’interno delle case dei soci DES. Per realizzarla abbiamo bisogno della disponibilità dei soci ad aprire le porte di casa ad amici e conoscenti per passare con loro un pomeriggio in cui il filo conduttore sarà la danza e la DES.
COSA CHIEDIAMO?
La disponibilità a organizzare domenica 15 maggio una DOMUS DES nella propria casa durante la quale condividere con gli amici il proprio rapporto con la danza e con i principi ispiratori della DES.
Ognuno potrà decidere e gestire in totale autonomia le presenze e l’ospitalità: invitare soci e non soci DES, raccontare e far raccontare, danzare e far danzare, leggere, mostrare video, organizzare una performance, offrire da bere e mangiare... Le DOMUS DES di tutta Italia si apriranno il 15 maggio alle 16.00 e si chiuderanno con un momento di incontro collettivo insieme a tutte le case partecipanti su Zoom alle 19.00.
In questa prima fase chiediamo semplicemente a chi è socio di comunicarci la propria disponibilità ad aprire casa, inviando una mail a [email protected] entro sabato 26 marzo.

How to practice with duality and non-duality?

Forget about non-duality. Understand duality and then from there, the mind will of itself open up into another level of consciousness. But if we don’t have mindful awareness every day, we’re never going to get primordial awareness, or if we do, we won’t be able to sustain it. So we have to start from where we are. Everybody wants the highest, but you can’t get the highest until you have the basics in learning how to tame the mind, how to make the mind more calm and clear, to be able to have a mind which is not the monkey mind, a mind which is running all over the place. We have to tame the monkey and through the mind we can train the monkey. Training the monkey transforms the mind and by transforming the mind we will eventually transcend our normal conceptual mind, but is has to go in stages. We can’t get to the top of the mountain when we haven’t even reached base camp. We have to get all our equipment for climbing. - Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo
