Trying belly dancing lately has made me realise something…

So many people say they want to feel more alive, more confident, more feminine, more free…

But refuse to step outside the identity they’ve built around themselves.

The same thoughts. The same habits. The same comfort zones. The same self-limitations.

And I say that with love because I know I’ve done it too.

We say: “I’m not confident enough.” “I’m too awkward.” “I’m not sexy.” “I’m not brave enough.” “I could never do that.”

But what if that’s just a story you’ve repeated so many times it became your identity?

Trying new things changes your energy. It wakes parts of you back up. It reconnects you to creativity, sensuality, play, feminine flow, LIFE.

Sometimes healing isn’t another deep conversation. Sometimes it’s moving your body differently. Laughing at yourself. Letting yourself be seen. Doing something that scares your ego a little.

Ask yourself honestly…

Do you only feel worthy when you’re busy? Do you struggle to ever fully relax? Do you cling to martyrdom? Do you avoid being alone with yourself? Do you secretly crave expansion but fear judgement more?

Because staying “safe” can become its own prison.

Pour into yourself. Try the class. Wear the outfit. Move the body. Take up space. Become someone your old self would’ve been too afraid to be.

That’s where the energy shifts ✨

The kids went to their dad’s for the first time in 8 weeks and I thought I’d finally get everything done.

Instead, I laid in the sun and realised how exhausted I actually am.

Not lazy.
Not unmotivated.
Just a nervous system that’s been holding too much for too long.

Do you tie your worth to productivity too?

Because I realised something today…

My kids went to their dad’s for the first time in 8 weeks, and I had this whole list of things I thought I needed to do.

Clean.
Decorate.
Run errands.
Be productive.

But instead…
I laid in the sun and rested.

And the guilt that came up made me realise how deeply so many of us have been conditioned to believe our worth is connected to constantly doing.

Like if we stop… we’re lazy.
If we rest… we’re wasting time.

But maybe your body isn’t lazy.
Maybe it’s exhausted from carrying too much for too long.

Is it time to relearn how to rest?

Something I’ve noticed in my Kundalini activations is that they are very quiet.
Not chaotic.
Not loud expressions or dramatic external release.
There is movement at times.
Occasional emotional release
But in general… it is still.
Grounded.
Contained.
And yet what happens internally is profound.
Deep non-dual states.
Expanded awareness.
Life perspective shifts.
Emotional reorganisation.
A sense of connection that is difficult to put into words.
And over time… real change in how people live.
Not through overwhelm.
But through integration.

It is simply a different frequency of experience.

Stillness does not mean nothing is happening.
In my experience… it often means the transformation is going deeper into the system, not outward through it.

While the world rushes through another busy weekday…
we spent the afternoon barefoot in the sunshine, lying in the grass, laughing until our stomachs hurt. ☀️🌿
And I don’t say that to “show off” my life.
I share it because this used to feel impossible for me too.
I know what it feels like to live overstimulated, exhausted, emotionally drained… counting down to weekends while secretly craving more softness, freedom and presence.
This life didn’t appear by accident.
I created it by finally listening to my body instead of abandoning myself to stress and survival mode.
The deeper I went into healing, nervous system work, kundalini and reclaiming my energy… the more life opened.
More peace.
More time.
More presence.
More moments that actually feel like living.
Your body was never designed to be in constant pressure.
And deep down… I think you know that too. 🤍

Most women never give themselves time to truly stop.

There’s always something to do.
Washing up. Folding clothes. Looking after everyone else. Holding it all together.

And somewhere along the way… you disappear a little.

This space is for you.

To put everything down for a moment.
To breathe.
To soften.
To receive.

You are allowed to choose yourself.
You are worth the time.
You are allowed to rest
