Don’t get me wrong - playlists, fairy lights, the room setup… all lovely.
You might use all of it.
You might also arrive and decide the playlist is f*cking annoying and the lights can absolutely do one 🙋🏻‍♀️
This exercise is for the stuff that still matters if:
- the birth centre’s closed / full unexpectedly
- things move quicker or slower than expected
- you change your mind
- the setup changes
