Skincare trends change constantly, the fundamentals don't.

After 10+ years in this industry, the rules that actually improve skin health have stayed consistent regardless of what's been trending, what's gone viral or what new ingredient has arrived with a lot of noise behind it.

These are the five I apply to my own routine, recommend to every patient, and won't compromise on ➡️

If you’d rather cut through the noise and build a routine that actually makes sense for your skin, tap the link in my bio to book a consultation 💌

If you’re in your 30s and starting to think about treatments, it can feel like you should suddenly be doing everything.

In reality, this is the decade where being selective matters most. The choices you make now can either support your skin for years to come or leave you needing far more intervention later on.

Instead of chasing trends, I always focus on treatments that give long-term value. The ones that protect collagen, improve skin quality and slow visible ageing in a natural, considered way.

Here are the three treatments I consistently see giving the best return on investment in your 30s 👉🏼

Polynucleotides are one of the most talked-about injectables in aesthetics right now, but there are still a lot of myths surrounding them. Let’s clear them up so you know exactly what to expect 👇🏼

🔎 Myth 1: You’ll see instant results

Polynucleotides are incredible for regenerating and repairing the skin, but they’re not a quick fix. Unlike fillers, they don’t instantly plump or smooth, they work by stimulating fibroblasts to build new collagen and improve skin quality over time. That’s why they fall under regenerative medicine: it takes a series of treatments, patience, and time to see their full benefits.

🔎 Myth 2: They’ll lift severe skin laxity on their own

While polynucleotides are amazing for improving skin texture, hydration, and elasticity, they won’t correct significant sagging. They can prime your skin beautifully before surgery, lasers, or thread lifting, helping you get better results from those treatments, but they’re not a substitute for procedures that physically lift skin.

🔎 Myth 3: They only hydrate the skin

Yes, polynucleotides do boost hydration, but they go so much further. They have antioxidant effects, reduce inflammation, support healing, and improve overall skin quality, making them a powerful tool in long-term skin health, not just a superficial hydrator.

Fuller, fresher, more hydrated lips that look completely natural. This is what lip filler should look like 👄

The goal with lip filler is always lips that look like yours, with the hydration, definition, and balance restored.

What you can see here is a result focused entirely on proportion and enhancement. The shape is natural, the volume is subtle, and the overall effect is simply fresher and more defined. The swelling visible immediately post-treatment settles within a few days to reveal the true result underneath.

Product choice plays a significant role in achieving this. A filler that integrates well into the lip tissue moves naturally, feels soft, and gives that healthy, hydrated quality rather than the stiff, overdone look that puts so many people off.

If you've been considering lip filler but want to be sure the result will still look like you, that's exactly the conversation we have in every consultation.

If you've been told tear trough filler isn't suitable for you, or you've looked into it and decided it's not something you want to pursue, that doesn't mean there's nothing that can be done about your under eye area.

The under-eye is where tiredness shows first, where the signs of ageing appear earliest, and where people have often already tried things that haven't worked or been put off by the idea of filler in such a delicate area.

There's a treatment that I think is significantly underused for this concern, and it's one that can deliver real, visible improvement in the right patient without any of the risks that come with filler in this area 👉🏼

Delighted to be featured in , sharing my thoughts on what skin in your 40s actually needs and how to support it properly 🙏

Your 40s are when skin changes become more noticeable and more meaningful. Collagen production slows, cell turnover becomes less efficient, and the cumulative effects of sun exposure and hormonal shifts start to show in ways that skincare alone can't always keep up with. It's not about doing more. It's about doing the right things consistently.

In the piece, I talk through the skincare foundations that make the biggest difference in this decade, retinoids, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and daily SPF, as well as the in-clinic treatments I reach for most for patients at this stage. Croma Revitalis combined with Morpheus8 is a combination I'm particularly passionate about right now. Deep hydration and skin quality from within, paired with the collagen stimulation and tightening that radiofrequency microneedling delivers. Together, they address the skin in a way that feels genuinely transformative for this age group.

Thank you to Woman & Home for including me in this piece and for asking the questions that actually matter when it comes to skin health in your 40s!

If your skin has texture and feels stuck no matter what you try, there's a good chance the routine you're using to fix it is actually making it worse.

The instinct when skin looks rough, congested or uneven is to reach for more exfoliation. More acids, more actives, more of everything in the hope that something will eventually shift.

I see the result of that approach regularly in clinic and it almost always looks the same. A compromised skin barrier, persistent sensitivity and texture that won't budge despite significant effort and spending.

This is the truth behind what's actually causing your texture, over-exfoliating, and what to do instead to start seeing change ➡️

Acne is difficult enough to deal with, but the scarring it leaves behind can feel even harder to accept.

Acne scarring sits in a category of skin concerns that genuinely affects how people feel about themselves every single day. The texture, the redness, the unevenness that stays long after the breakouts have cleared. For so many people, it becomes something they feel they just have to live with.

What you're looking at here is the result of a course of microneedling treatments. By creating precise, controlled micro-injuries in the skin, microneedling triggers the body's own wound healing response, stimulating new collagen and elastin production that gradually breaks down scar tissue and rebuilds the skin more evenly over time.

Each session builds on the last, and the improvement continues for weeks after each treatment as the remodelling process progresses.

The key with acne scarring is consistency and patience. One session starts the process, but a full course is what delivers the kind of result you can see here.

Smoother texture, reduced redness, and skin that has improved at a structural level rather than just on the surface.

If acne scarring is something you've been struggling with and you'd like to understand what's possible for your skin, head to the link in my bio to book a consultation 💌
