Heres a tip for getting a Japanese tattoo of a koi or dragon, if it's facing downwards it means the opposite of the original meaning, for example a koi wouldn't mean perseverance it would mean I give up, same with a dragon , it would show a weak dragon, weak spirit, be careful what designs you get if you don't understand the meaning, mythology and history of these subjects ,also your tattoo artist should be aware of these already.

Finally shaded Fredrick, definitely better the second time around shading black and grey, I used a Kwadron 12/15 curved mag this time instead of a 13 and used a 45/45 degree angle using the edge more than I did on the first day, progress is going really well, next tattoo will be on a actual human so keep an eye out for some upcoming designs with apprentice prices👀
