This week, residents at Hollybank House enjoyed an Autumnal Arts and Crafts session, creating their own autumn inspired paintings. 🍂🎨

Our residents loved getting creative and choosing their own colours and designs, with the session also sparking plenty of lovely stories and memories of autumns gone by.

Arts and crafts are a great way for older people to keep their minds active, encourage creativity and support dexterity and coordination, while also providing an opportunity to spend time together and enjoy a shared activity. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and taking pride in their creations. 💜

This week, residents at Ashcroft Care Home enjoyed a wonderful cake baking session! From mixing the ingredients to taking part in a bit of "quality control", residents were involved every step of the way. The kitchen smelt amazing as the cake baked, and the delicious treat was later shared around the home for everyone to enjoy together! 🎂
