Because healthcare shouldn’t leave you feeling dependent.

It should leave you feeling confident.

Confident to move.

Confident to ask questions.

Confident to make informed decisions about your own health.

Whether you visit eve for an appointment, attend one of our workshops, watch an eve Coffee Break, or simply follow this page…

My hope is always the same:

That you leave knowing a little more about your body than you did before.

That you feel a little less afraid.

A little more capable.

A little more in control.

Pain doesn’t have to define your story.

Knowledge can change it.

💚

Giving people ownership of their health.

That’s why eve exists.

As healthcare professionals, we spend years learning anatomy, biomechanics, pain science and rehabilitation.

But the most important thing we learn is this:

Every person sitting in front of us has a different story.

Behind every painful shoulder…
every period that stops someone living their life…
every pelvic pain…
every back pain…

…there is someone who simply wants their life back.

That is what we work for.

Not perfect scans.
Not perfect posture.
Not temporary fixes.

Real life.

Thank you to every patient who has trusted me over the years. It is a privilege that I never take for granted.

💚 If you’ve ever had a healthcare professional who genuinely changed your life, tag them below. They deserve to hear it.

Your pelvis could be the hidden reason behind your pain.

Caption

Lower back pain.
Hip pain.
Pain during s*x.
Bladder leaks.
Constipation.
Groin pain.
Sciatica.
A feeling of pressure “down there.”

Many people treat these as separate problems.

They often aren’t.

Your pelvis is where your spine, hips, muscles, nerves, bladder, bowel and reproductive organs work together. When one part isn’t functioning well, the whole system can be affected.

For women, pelvic dysfunction can be linked to:
• Pregnancy and postnatal recovery
• Endometriosis
• Adenomyosis
• Menopause
• Painful periods
• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Urinary incontinence

For men, it may contribute to:
• Persistent pelvic pain
• Groin pain
• Erectile dysfunction
• Bladder symptoms
• Recovery after prostate surgery
• Cycling-related pain

Pain isn’t always where the problem starts.

Sometimes the pelvis is the missing piece.

If you’ve been living with symptoms that don’t seem to improve, it’s worth looking beyond where it hurts.

Your body is connected. Your assessment should be too.

Welcome back to eve coffee break.

We’ve spent this few weeks talking about morning back pain.

But when should you actually get it checked?

Most morning stiffness isn’t dangerous. In fact, it’s incredibly common.

However, if your symptoms are becoming progressively worse, if you’re losing sleep, if the pain is travelling into your leg, if you’re avoiding activities you enjoy, or if your stiffness is becoming your new normal, it’s worth having a conversation with a healthcare professional.

Pain doesn’t always mean damage. But persistent symptoms are your body’s way of asking for attention.

The earlier we understand what’s driving the problem, the easier it often is to manage.

And remember, whether it’s your joints, muscles, lifestyle, stress levels, activity levels, or simply doing too much at the weekend, there’s usually a reason your body is behaving the way it is.

Thanks for joining me for this week’s eve coffee break.

If you’re waking up stiff every morning, we’d love to help you understand why.

See you next time!
