FASCIA

“The Second Skin”

Fascia, known as myofascial tissue, is a web of connective tissue surrounding every muscle, bone, nerve and organ in the body.

It responds continuously to stress, emotional states, posture, injury, movement, repetition.

Over time, stress and exhaustion begin to show in the face (and body) through tension, tightness, asymmetry and fatigue in the features.

This is why I believe so strongly in facial massage.

When I work deep into the facial muscles. I always see incredible changes not only in the skin and muscle tone, but in how the client feels about herself.

Daily home facial massage, breathwork and seeing a skilled facialist regularly will restore vitality and rejuvenation to the tissue.

The face tells the story. The body and mind are never truly separate.

THE FIXED OILS I RATE MOST TO GIVE A FIRM & HYDRATED SKIN FOR THE BODY

Hazelnut

Camellia

Macadamia

Why these oils?

Blended together, they give the skin a beautiful glow, deep hydration and more refined finish

The combination absorbs fast into the skin with a lightweight, elegant finish. That is nourishing without the dense or greasy feel often associated with body oils.

Hazelnut
Fast-absorbing with a dry-touch finish. Rich in oleic acid and vitamin E. This makes the skin feel firmer and more toned.

Macadamia
Contains palmitoleic acid and gives the skin a smoother and more replenished appearance.

Camellia
Known for its elegant slip, beautyful skin sheen and long association with Japanese beauty rituals.

Together they create a body oil that feels silky, elegant and deeply luxurious for everyday body nourishment.

3 x ESSENTIAL OILS THAT I RATE MOST FOR EFFECTIVE SLEEP & NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

Ho Wood

Lavender

Sandalwood

Why these oils?

— Ho Wood
High in linalool. Helps to calm overstimulation, emotional and mental tension.

— Lavender
Relaxes the nervous system while reducing physical and mental restlessness prior to sleep.

— Sandalwood
A deeply grounding oil traditionally used to calm the mind and help with deeper rest.

Together, they create a woody-soft scent that feels calming, and restorative.

Best used in a personal inhaler for direct inhalation and a more immediate effect on the nervous system.
(Also beautiful in a room diffuser, though more subtle.)

I recommed organic oils only.

Suggested inhaler blend:

8 drops Lavender
7 drops Ho Wood
5 drops Sandalwood

My 3 true luxury points:

1. Luxury is a state of being - have that as your inner default state.

2. Luxury is also the environment that you create or manifest. BOTH Internally (emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually) AND for beauty in your external world.

3. Luxury is in how you treat your skin and what you apply. It doesn’t need to be very expensive. It needs to be intentional, honest in terms of the ingredients & of quality.

Your skin is a manifestation of what’s going on in the inside. It’s a living eco system, so what you apply will communicate with your body.

Give intention to what you apply to your skin - products or perfume etc. You have one body and only ONE for life.

Give it the beauty & love that it deserves. Enjoy 💛

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 - 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞.

Are your epigenetic signals supporting repair or driving stress and ageing?

So it’s about expressing the rejuvenating genes & silencing the negative genes.

Manifesting from both the care of the inside and the outside. 🌟💛

Give yourself :
• Time to think
• Space to create
• The ability to give yourself care & joy.

Your every thought & belief systems released are interpreted through your body and translated into chemistry.

“Be awake to your thoughts and the environment you live in daily.”

Which releases:
Dopamine.
Endorphins.
Oxytocin.
Cortisol… and more.

It is the science of Epigenetics - (Epi meaning “above” ) the continuous expression of your DNA: your blueprint interprets through the signals which is influenced by both your internal & external environment.

These signals affect pathways linked to inflammation, repair & regeneration. Over a period of time Epigenetics shape how your body functions & ages.

This Includes:
Stress
Nutrition
Sleep
Emotional state
Lifestyle
Passions
Exercise
Thoughts
Interactions with People

3 x ESSENTIAL OILS ( pure ) THAT CHANGE YOUR BRAIN STATE

Many think essential oils are just “nice Scents.” They’re not. It’s about function and modulating your state with precision not simply relaxation

Your brain responds to scent within seconds and can help to;
Elevate your state
Enhance focus
Create mental clarity

The oils interact directly with the limbic system, the part of the brain that regulates mood, stress, focus, and behaviour.

So choosing the appropriate essential oil can shift how you function throughout your day.

THE 3 OILS

1. Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)
Uplifting
Nervous system regulating
Emotionally balancing

Use when: you feel flat, low, or are reaching for stimulation.

2. Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)
Allows for mental Space
Encourages parasympathetic activation
Very grounding.

Use when: overstimulated, anxious, or mentally scattered.

3. Rosemary ct. cineole (Rosmarinus officinalis)
Enhances focus
Supports cognitive clarity
Increases alertness

Use when: you need to think, work, or create.

I use this principle when formulating oils for both the skin and nervous system.

How you feel shows on your face and in your micro movements.

EARTH DAY

Essential oils don’t begin in a bottle. They begin in the soil. So working with natures beauty - intelligently.

Because Essential oils are highly concentrated. They require large amounts of plant material to produce small amounts of oil.

So creating truly luxurious blends is not about adding more but using the right amount with real precision.

It’s what activates “the magic” in both the function and scent of an oil.

Luxury should also be an inner state of richness. Of gratitude and awareness. Not just consumption.

Are your face or body oils not giving you results?

Whether it’s a single oil or a blend.

Something still feels… underwhelming.

Common issues:

• Applying too much or too little
• Low quality oils
• Inconsistency
• The wrong oil for their skin

These points can certainly be valid.

But the real issue is the formulation.

A single essential oil or base oil cannot do everything.

The skin & body are more complex.

It’s the interaction of multiple chemical compounds & the body’s chemistry through carefully chosen oils that creates change.

This is why bespoke blends are not just guesswork. They’re carefully designed to treat the issue.

Often customised formulations will have higher (targeted) concentrations of essential oils. The other complex artistry is actually creating the base example (Apricot kernel, jojoba, evening primrose, rosehip, borage seed etc) they certainly have their own power in healing. Therefore it’s essential to have a results driven base for the pe*******on and effectiveness of the essential oils.

Many people have never experienced a true bespoke formulation.

Try a customised approach, you’ll begin to see oils very differently.

It’s science, it’s art.

I currently have a waiting list. But If you wish to have a consultation (whether it’s body or face) to experience a bespoke formulation. You’re welcome to message me. 🌟

THE SCIENCE OF SKIN “GLOW”

What we perceive as glow is optical. True glow is not applied,

It is created — through function, not illusion.

It is the result of how light evenly reflects with the skin.

Smooth & hydrated skin that reflects light evenly.

Uneven even slightly rough & dehydrated skin scatters light & creating dullness.

What creates real glow?
• Cellular renewal
• A smooth, refined epidermis
• Deep hydration
• Healthy skin microbiome
• Good microcirculation

1. Epidermal smoothness

The Stratum Corneum should be even and well-hydrated.
Irregular texture or dehydration disrupts this.
Vitamin A activity (retinoids or natural derivatives) supports cell renewal, improving the epidermis over time.

2. The lipid barrier (where glow is built)
The skin barrier is composed of corneocytes and lipids. Behaving like a polished surface.

Key lipids include:
• Ceramides
• Cholesterol
• Fatty acids

When this matrix is strong transepidermal water loss (TEWL) is reduced & so maintaining hydration.

3. Inflammation & skin microbiome
Low-grade inflammation affects the skins texture, glow & feel. Giving that look of dullness & uneven tone.

Balanced microbiome, anti-inflammatory support creates the conditions for radiant skin.

4. Microcirculation
Healthy circulation delivers oxygen and nutrients to the skin. It is what gives that alive quality.

Supported by:
• Facial massage ( both self massage & professional)
• Movement & cardio
• Deep breathing
• Cold exposure

Oils vs “active” skincare

Unlike aggressive resurfacing (e.g. retinoids). Organic top quality oils do not force the skin but support function. However I personally love to use high tech skincare. I just love using oils also, I think the two systems work well together for maximum support.

High-quality oils enhance glow by:
• Reinforcing the lipid barrier
• Reducing TEWL
• Delivering anti-inflammatory compounds
• Smoothing surface texture hence improving light reflection

INCREDIBLE “GLOW” OILS 🌟🌟🌟

When the skin microbiome, texture and hydration is restored - the way light reflects from these skin changes is what we perceive as glow.

I adore many Base/Fixed oils but these 3 x potent fixed oils below (which I of course blend with other base oils) I’m currently loving using:

SEA BUCKTHORN
“The visible radiance oil”

One of the few oils that gives a noticeable glow quite quickly
It creates a subtle warm tone so skin looks brighter & more alive

Why
• Extremely high in carotenoids → visible radiance
• Rich in omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) → supports regeneration
• Potent anti-inflammatory

Effect
A noticeable, almost immediate radiance that builds over days

PRICKLY PEAR
“The quiet luxury glow oil”

It is not the “wow immediate glow” oil like sea buckthorn.

Why
• Exceptionally high in linoleic acid (omega-6)
• Supports ceramide function + barrier integrity
• Reduces TEWL and improves hydration

Effect
A smoother surface → enhanced light reflection

ROSEHIP SEED
“The refinement oil”

Rosehip is more subtle. It doesn’t create glow directly but it refines the skin for that glow to to appear. It is powerful long-term

Why
• Rich in linoleic acid → barrier repair
• Contains natural vitamin A activity (retinoic acid derivatives)
• Improves texture and hydration

Effect
Clearer, brighter, more refined skin within days
