Today, the National Respiratory Audit Programme (NRAP) has launched the 2024–25 State of the Nation report. The report ‘Room to breathe: A longitudinal review of respiratory data' presents data on the care received by people with asthma and COPD in hospital, and of people with COPD accessing pulmonary rehabilitation. This year, NRAP reports on data from around 100,000 acute admissions and nearly 48,000 pulmonary rehabilitation assessments across England and Wales.

The report provides a focused update on progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) across all workstreams from 2021–22 to 2024–25.
