Two years of ups and downs with this one.
What I’ve learnt:

• Progress is not linear.

• You got it, then you not got it & then you got it again and that’s the circle of life

• You gotta be cool with getting frustrated with yourself - it’s part of the game 💁🏻

• persistence & patience pays - cutting corners doesn’t- build strength in the fundamental movements & skills will come together effortlessly

• sometimes you need someone else to believe in you more than you believe in yourself - community in movement is everything to me

Imma do some calisthenics community classes in the new year coz y’all been asking & I do love teaching this!

Not only did I leave with new skills and the confidence to start experimenting with massage, but the atmosphere Jo created was truly special. We laughed, we relaxed, and we shared a wonderful experience together. If you’re thinking about joining the next workshop—just go for it, you’ll love every moment!”

OMG WHAAAT my first ever competition and our team won 🥇!!!
Had a lil cry last night coz so proud!
I can downplay my performance so often, not only in calisthenics but generally speaking and yes, striving for improvement is a good quality but celebrating accomplishments and victories is equally as important ✨

Gassed by our team’s combined effort and by every single athlete in the competition - some absolute power houses on that rooftop yesterday and damn you’re all inspiring! 💪🏻

Wait did I just call myself an athlete too? 12 year old me would have a right laugh if you told them that - she used to sit out everything pretending period or tummy ache because she felt so self conscious and so inept and look at me fly now wow timelines really can shift eh!

The vibe was immaculate and the collective support from everyone was so special. Beautiful to witness and be a part of 🫶🏻

Thanks for pushing me in the best way you guys are incredible and I do feel blessed to train with you and learn from you 🙏🏻

And yes, Sobs I will control the leg swing better, I promise 😄

I really enjoyed competing so much! And this is still sinking in tbh.

Next year I’ll be even stronger! ✌🏻🤸🏻 Muscle ups I’m coming for ya!!
