Reflexology is a complementary therapy that is performed on the feet. Its aim is to promote relaxation which contributes to restoring the body's natural balance. Reflexology is based on the theory that the feet are a microcosm of the body and that different reflex points on the feet correspond with the organs, glands and all systems of the body. Applying pressure to these points will help to relie

ve tension and stress. This enhances general wellbeing which is a wonderful way to support you through the stresses and strains placed upon your body by everyday life. Reflexology has been practiced for centuries and has its roots in the ancient civilisations of Egypt, India and China. Today millions of people around the world use reflexology as a tool to counteract the effects of stress which can have a negative impact upon the mind and body. Valerie is International Institute of Reflexology qualified and has 20 years previous experience as a registered nurse. She is fully insured, holds AOR membership and has qualifications in First Aid and British sign language. Valerie has also completed specialist training in Nerve Reflexology, maternity, postnatal and preconception reflexology. With regret, missed appointments and cancellations at less than 24 hour notice will be charged at the full rate.
