Many men grow up believing they’re supposed to protect, provide and fix things.
When you lose a baby, there’s nothing to fix.
You can’t take away your partner’s pain. You can’t change the diagnosis. You can’t make everything okay.
For some men, that feeling of powerlessness becomes its own form of grief.
