If I had 2 minutes to slow things down, I’d start with my body.
When everything feels like it’s moving a little too quickly, it’s easy for your thoughts to pick up the same pace. Swaying gently from side to side gives your mind something simple and rhythmic to follow, while dropping through the heels brings your attention to the feeling of the ground beneath you.
There’s something about that combination that helps bring you out of the rush and back into where you actually are. Your attention moves away from everything happening in your head and towards the rhythm of your body, your feet and the floor beneath you.
Two minutes, no mat and nothing complicated. Just a simple way to slow the pace, feel more grounded and reconnect with yourself in the middle of your day 🌻
