A lot happened during the men’s circle on May 23rd. But something very interesting started happening during Authentic Sharing.
Up until now, it often looked like this: everyone would share something. One spoke briefly, another longer. We shared and moved on.
This time it was different.
The space itself felt slightly different. And maybe that’s exactly why something happened that nobody planned.
There is no facilitator standing at the front pulling the energy of the whole group.
There is no stage. In the centre, there is a fire around which we sit.
And that changes a lot.
Suddenly, a person is no longer looking at just one individual. They’re not waiting for someone to tell them what to think. There is no audience.
There is a centre.
And after some time, something very interesting starts becoming visible.
The nervous system of the group begins to regulate and synchronize.
And suddenly something changes.
It wasn’t planned. Something simply started happening.
One person speaks a little more.
Another goes a little deeper.
Someone stops rushing for the first time in a long while. Someone else starts saying things they never expected to hear from themselves.
And not necessarily because somebody opened them up, but rather because nobody was shutting them down.
Because when a person speaks and nobody interrupts…
when nobody is waiting to respond…
when nobody is waiting with their own story…
when nobody is trying to fix them…..something very simple happens.
A person begins to hear themselves…
And maybe that’s exactly why extra techniques, methods and ready-made answers are not always needed.
Sometimes all it takes is a fire in the middle and a few people who have the courage to sit in their own truth.
