ONE DOSE. THREE MONTHS OF EFFECT?

A Phase 3 trial of Definium Therapeutics’ L*D-based treatment DT120 has produced striking results for people with generalized anxiety disorder.

214 people received either a single 100µg dose of DT120 or placebo.

After 12 weeks, anxiety scores had fallen 11.6 points with DT120 vs 6.2 with placebo — a statistically significant 5.4-point difference.

Improvements were already visible within 48 hours and were sustained throughout the 12-week study.

If a second Phase 3 trial, due to report in September, confirms these findings, L*D could move another step closer to becoming a prescription treatment for anxiety.

Another reason cannabis access matters. 🌿
New research from the University of Georgia found that medical cannabis laws were associated with around 7% fewer health-related workplace absences.

The findings add to the growing conversation around cannabis, health and quality of life — and why access to medical cannabis matters.

The evidence is growing. The conversation needs to keep moving.

Could cannabinoids be changing the conversation around autism? 🌿

New clinical research into NTI164 has produced some seriously interesting results.

In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving children and adolescents with moderate-to-severe ASD, researchers reported improvements across multiple areas, including:

🧠 Social responsiveness & communication
🧩 Everyday functioning
💭 Emotional regulation & anxiety
❤️ Behavioural symptoms
👨‍👩‍👧 Family quality of life

And importantly, NTI164 was reported to be safe and well tolerated, with no serious adverse events during the study.

The study was relatively small and lasted just 8 weeks, so larger trials are needed to confirm the findings.

But with a Phase III trial now being developed, the research is moving forward.

The science is evolving. The conversation is changing. 🌱

Portugal exported 66.3 tonnes of cannabis for medicinal purposes in just six months. 🇵🇹🌿

Between January and June 2026, exports reached 66,305 kg — already 83% of the total exported during the whole of 2025.
Germany, Spain and Denmark were among the leading destinations.

Portugal’s medicinal cannabis industry continues to grow rapidly — but the scale of exports also raises an important question: how much of this sector is actually benefiting patients at home?
